A series of workshops travelling through history using fashion, art, music, food, woodcraft and games to recall different cultures that live in Harlesden today.

Adult workshop

Adults workshop: did you know that Halloween is an Irish tradition? Halloween originated in Ireland as the Celtic festival of Samhain, which is why so many Halloween traditions – regardless of where you are in the world – are Irish! The Celts believed that dead spirits would visit the mortal world on the eve of Halloween.

Different workshops exploring Irish and Celtic games, art and tradition travelled from the past belong to the present in the local community and will foretell the future.

Children's and the whole family workshops

Board and card games belonging to a mix of cultures living in Harlesden today will lead us to craft a new one embracing Harlesden.

Every culture has a pastry or a parcel with a specific mixture of food. have you ever seen the similarities? Join us to make pizza fritta, samosa, Cornish pastries, Empanadas Tucumanas, Jamaican Patty, Paszteciki.

Open to all Latin American games
